Our minister Elizabeth Youngson graduated from King’s college, Aberdeen in 1993 with B.D. Honours. She is happily married to Graeme and they have two grown up children; Fiona and Steven.  

She was a church elder before she became an ordained minister.   (She would say,’ all Christians are ministers or should be!’) When asked why she is a minister, she replied ‘My love for Christ and my love for people propel me’. She would describe herself as progressive.  She has a Diploma in Counselling.  She is a member of SCND www.banthebomb.org and SCANA (Scottish Clergy Against Nuclear Arms) www.scana.org.uk  Elizabeth is also an associate member of the Iona Community. www.iona.org.uk

Her interests include reading, obviously theology.  She gets great pleasure from gardening and cooking and loves it when her family and friends come to stay.  She keeps fit by walking, running, swimming and yoga.
